We currently have an Account Handler vacancy in the Newtown office.

FUW Insurance Services is one of the leading insurance brokers in Wales. Working closely with a panel of specialist agricultural and commercial insurance companies we have access to a wide range of market leading products and deliver great value for money for our policyholders. We have built a reputation for offering an informed and professional service to agricultural, small market enterprises, commercial and personal lines clients throughout Wales.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will preferably have experience working in a customer service / insurance / financial services environment. You would be responsible for face to face, verbal and written contact with both new and existing FUW Insurance Services customers. You will be involved in processing and issuing insurance policy transactions / quotations as well as general office duties.

Job Vacancy: Marketing Coordinator

Position:                               Marketing Coordinator

Location:                              FUW Head Office, Aberystwyth (temporarily remote)

Contract:                              Full time, permanent  

Payscale:                              £21-26k depending on level of experience

Reports to:                           Head of Marketing, FUW Ltd

Language requirements:    Welsh desirable

Overview of the role

To support the marketing and communications department with all inbound and outbound marketing activities. You’ll contribute to developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns and activities to promote our products and services to existing and potential customers. The role includes market research, advertising, event organisation, sponsorship, online campaigns, website updates, direct marketing and social media. You will be responsible for providing marketing support for all county offices, including both FUW and FUW Insurance Services staff.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Events & Exhibitions

  • Help to deliver events, conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • To provide input and ideas for large scale campaigns
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

Marketing Campaigns

  • Write content for online and print campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including videos
  • Write, post and analyse direct marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring of performance of email mailshot campaigns
  • Support with product launches

Website & Online

  • Update company online content 
  • Implement SEO and PPC campaigns as directed by the Head of Marketing
  • Monitor performance of online campaigns
  • Liaise with third party developers
  • Assist in managing the website structure, page layout, content and design
  • Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels using Google Analytics and other relevant sites

Market research

  • Conduct research of market trends, competitor offerings and other information identifying opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Analyse surveys and market research
  • Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy and promotional activities
  • Work with stakeholders to improve the overall marketing experience

Design

  • Assist in creating promotional marketing materials such as brochures and adverts etc
  • Provide fact-checking, copy-editing and formatting assistance for marketing materials
  • Proof-reading of creative copy
  • Prepare creative content including videos
  • Source opportunities and place adverts
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials to county offices
  • Liaise with designers and printers as appropriate
  • Liaising with colleagues in various departments to ensure coherence
  • Work with third party organisations including printers, designers etc to ensure on time delivery of printed materials

Other

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Supporting social media campaigns as and when required
  • Organise photo shoots
  • Communicate with clients, customers and external agencies
  • Submit ideas to help promote FUW and FUW Insurance Services
  • Undertaking other reasonable duties as determined by your line manager

COVID-19 - Important Information for our members and customers

 

In view of the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we’ve taken the decision to help protect members, customers and colleagues by closing all FUW offices.

All staff will be working remotely for the foreseeable future, meaning our team will be continuing with exactly the same service but over the phone/email/skype or other means of remote communication instead. 

Members and customers should continue to contact us as they would, as all our team can be contacted via the usual phone numbers. 

We will be making sure that our service levels are maintained. SAF/IACS appointments will carry on as normal but will be conducted over the phone.
