Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales (HCC), Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) and AHDB have recently launched a £1.2 million “Make it” beef campaign which aims to encourage consumers to bring the restaurant experience home.
The campaign will consist of TV, radio and social media promotions for the next 12 weeks, encouraging consumers to cook prime beef cuts, such as steaks and joints, at home. It follows a social media push to promote higher priced cuts of lamb and beef throughout April as a result of carcase balance issues throughout the supply chain since the overnight closure of the foodservice sector.
