Any farmer having difficulty meeting the requirements of their Glastir contract may request a derogation using their RPW Online account.
Examples of situations where a derogation request may be necessary include:
- Difficulty complying with some sward height options where where there is a shortage of fodder for livestock
- Taking a late fodder crop from fields with grazed Glastir options
- Cutting and baling winter bedding such as rushes from fields under Glastir options
- Difficulty sourcing water for livestock and wishing to access water in stock excluded options, such as streamside corridors
A request for a derogation may be submitted for any option within a Glastir contract and will be considered on a case to case basis.
Details of the option and field number should be provided, along with as much information as possible regarding the circumstances leading to the request. Supporting documentation may be required and requested in certain circumstances, depending on the nature of the request.
Where a derogation is granted, in some circumstances the option(s) may not contribute to the annual payment, but no penalties would be applied for failing to deliver the option(s) covered by the derogation. яндекс
