British Wool is currently looking for nominations for County Representatives.
British Wool’s governance structure has nine UK regions with 81 farmer elected county representatives representing members within their respective county on the regional committee. All 81 county representatives are up for election and British Wool are inviting nominations from those interested in becoming a farmer representative within their county.

Expectations of the role:
- 3 year appointment, commencing 1st January 2023
- 2 regional meetings a year
- 1 annual conference in November

Nomination process
To be eligible to stand for election, candidates must be nominated by ten registered members from the county they wish to represent. Each of the nominators should supply their address, authorised signature and membership number. For details of the regions, please go to the relevant page on the British Wool website.
Nominations should be sent to and arrive no later than 6pm on Thursday 27th October 2022, by email to
