The Meirionnydd branch of the Farmers’ Union of Wales is holding its annual general meeting themed “Achieving the correct balance between farming and conservation for the future”.
The event is held on Friday, January 26 at Neuadd Ysgol Y Parc, near Bala, LL23 7YW and will start at 7.30pm and is open to all.
Guest speakers on the night are Owain Wyn, Snowdonia National Park Chairman, Richard Tudor, Llysun Farm, Llanerfyl, near Welshpool and Tim Jones, Operations Manager of Natural Resources Wales, for North and Mid Wales.
FUW Meirionnydd CEO Huw Jones said: “At a time of recent important announcements in the context of agricultural support for the future and the formation of agricultural policy following Brexit, this should be a thought-provoking theme for members and farmers. I hope many of you can join us on the night.”
