FUW Brecon and Radnor farmhouse breakfast makes for a great start to the day

A traditional cooked breakfast is one of the best ways to highlight the quality of Welsh farm produce and it is a great opportunity to talk and share your thoughts before starting the day.

To promote the health benefits and enjoy the outstanding food our farmers produce every day, as well as getting farmers round the table for a chat, the Farmers’ Union of Wales (FUW) Brecon and Radnor team is hosting a farmhouse breakfast in aid of the FUW’s Farmhouse Breakfast Week.

The event is held at the FUW Pavilion on the Royal Welsh Showground on Monday 24 January at 9am and is open to all. Though there is no charge for the breakfast,  any donations will be in aid of the mental health charity, the DPJ Foundation.

Following the breakfast there will be a question and answer session with James Evans, MS for the area.

FUW Brecon and Radnor County Chairman, Dwylan Davies said: “It's great that as a county we are able to hold a Farmhouse Breakfast this year,  after missing out last year due to Covid. It's an opportunity for us to talk to our local politicians about farming matters and at the same time raise money for our charitable causes. We look forward to welcoming you all to our breakfast table this year. It promises to be a great morning.”

For more information on how to book your seat at the breakfast table contact the FUW Brecon and Radnor office on 01982 554030.
